Empresarios Barber College LLC is a private institution approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Approval to operate means the institution is in compliance with the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, as amended, and Title 5, Division 7.5 of the California Code of Regulations.

Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) Disclosure

You must pay the state-imposed assessment for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if all of the following applies to you:

• You are a student in an educational program, who is a California resident, or are enrolled in a residency program; and
• Prepay all or part of your tuition.

You are not responsible to pay into the STRF at this time. The current rate is $0 per $1,000 of institutional charges.

The STRF exists to reimburse students who suffer losses due to school closure, failure to pay refunds, or other institutional defaults.

Transferability of Credits

The transferability of credits you earn at Empresarios Barber College LLC is at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer. Acceptance of the certificate you earn in our barbering program is also at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer.

Refund Policy

A student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. Please see the Catalog and Enrollment Agreement for the full refund policy.

Empresarios Barber College LLC is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and drug-free learning environment.

• The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited on school property, during class hours, or at school-sponsored events.

• Students must not attend class or participate in training activities while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including suspension or dismissal, and may also be referred to local law enforcement.

• Substance abuse can pose serious health risks, including addiction, illness, injury, and loss of licensure eligibility.
