Credentials Awarded

Credentials Awarded Upon successful completion of the Barbering Program – 1,000 Clock Hours, and after fulfilling all graduation requirements, students will be awarded a: Certificate of Completion in Barbering This certificate signifies that the graduate has met the academic and practical training requirements established by Empresarios Barber College LLC and is eligible to apply for the California State Board Barbering Licensure Examination. Graduates who successfully pass the State Board Examination will be issued a California Barber License, which is required to practice as a licensed barber in the State of California.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted into the Barbering Program at Empresarios Barber College LLC, applicants must meet the following requirements: Age Requirement Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the time of enrollment. Education Requirement Applicants must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. The institution does not accept Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) students. Identification Requirement Applicants must present a valid government-issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Language Requirement All instruction is conducted in English only. Applicants must be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a level sufficient to complete the program. Enrollment Documents Applicants must complete and sign an Enrollment Agreement prior to admission. Applicants will receive a copy of the current School Catalog and School Performance Fact Sheet (SPFS) prior to signing the Enrollment Agreement.

Refund Policy

A student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. Please see the Catalog and Enrollment Agreement for the full refund policy.
